CadenceNaturopathic Practice

Areas of care

Four areas. Nothing beyond them.

A narrow practice is easier to be honest about. Each area below lists what a consultation covers and, in the same breath, what it does not, so no service is implied that is not actually provided.

01

Everyday eating

Meal structure, shopping and cooking capacity, and how food fits the hours you actually have.

Covered in a consultation

  • A detailed picture of a normal week of eating, including the parts that go badly
  • Practical structure: what is prepared when, and by whom
  • Making general dietary guidance workable inside your budget, culture and schedule
  • Coordinating with dietary advice you have already received from a clinician

Not offered

  • Food sensitivity, intolerance or microbiome testing of any kind
  • Elimination protocols presented as diagnostic
  • Supplement products, dispensing or sales
  • Nutrition advice presented as treatment for a diagnosed disease
02

Sleep and routine

Timing, wind-down, light and the shape of an evening, reviewed as habits rather than symptoms.

Covered in a consultation

  • Sleep and wake timing across weekdays and weekends
  • Evening routine, screens, caffeine and alcohol timing
  • Shift work and caring responsibilities as fixed constraints to design around
  • Recognising when disturbed sleep warrants medical assessment

Not offered

  • Diagnosing insomnia, sleep apnoea or any sleep disorder
  • Sedatives, melatonin dosing or any prescribing
  • Home sleep studies or diagnostic monitoring
03

Movement

Rebuilding regular activity around real limits such as time, energy, pain, confidence and access.

Covered in a consultation

  • An honest baseline of current activity
  • Small, repeatable increments rather than programmes that collapse in week three
  • Working within restrictions set by your physiotherapist, surgeon or doctor

Not offered

  • Rehabilitation for injury, post-operative recovery or diagnosed musculoskeletal conditions
  • Manual therapy, manipulation or any hands-on treatment
  • Overriding an exercise restriction given by a medical clinician
04

Stress load and recovery

The parts of a demanding week that can be structured, and clear honesty about the parts that cannot.

Covered in a consultation

  • Where recovery time realistically exists in your week
  • Routine, breaks, boundaries between work and rest
  • Deciding what to raise with a doctor or mental health professional

Not offered

  • Psychotherapy, counselling or mental health treatment
  • Care for depression, anxiety disorders or any psychiatric condition
  • Claims about adrenal fatigue, cortisol correction or detoxification

If your concern is not on this list, it is genuinely not something this practice takes on. The scope and safety page explains where to look instead.
